Brian Weiss
Brian Weiss is the Senior Vice President of Communications at Alliance for Automotive Innovation, the Washington, D.C. – based organization representing the iconic companies producing most vehicles sold today in the United States, as well as autonomous vehicle innovators, semiconductor producers and advanced battery manufacturers.
Brian is a longtime communications, public affairs and media executive with experience as a spokesperson, speechwriter and senior advisor to members of Congress, cabinet officials, non-profit CEOs and corporate leaders. His background spans the federal government, technology, media, sports, entertainment and journalism.
For more than a decade, Brian served as a senior advisor, communications director and spokesperson at the U.S. Small Business Administration and for multiple U.S. senators, including Senators Dianne Feinstein (California), Evan Bayh (Indiana) and John Breaux (Louisiana).
Prior to joining Alliance for Automotive Innovation, Brian held top communications roles at USTelecom – The Broadband Association, TechNet, Warner Music Group and sport/media powerhouse IMG. He began his career in journalism as an editor at George magazine, the landmark political and popular culture magazine founded by John Kennedy, Jr. Brian is a graduate of the University of Pennsylvania.
