In over 24 years at CARFAX, Faisal has been responsible for helping to build CARFAX’s Vehicle History Database to help buyers and sellers of used cars across North America.   Faisal also launched CARFAX’s partnerships with local, state/provincial and federal governments in the US and Canada to leverage vehicle history to fight vehicle theft and fraud.   A key area of focus has been assisting the vehicle manufacturers their mission to create awareness of open recalls to increase closure rates,  through the CARFAX vehicle history service and the Vehicle Recall Search Service (VRSS) CARFAX maintains for the OEMs.   Faisal earned his B.A. in Government & Politics at George Mason University and his M.A. in Government at the Johns Hopkins University.

Aaron is an experienced global automotive executive with a unique blend of engineering, business development, product management and strategy experiences. With a career spanning over 20 years, Aaron has been at the forefront of delivering new technologies from electrification and power electronics to ADAS and automated driving systems; most recently leading the product strategy and ADAS product growth at ZF Friedrichshafen. Prior to joining ZF, Aaron spent over 15 years at Delphi (now Aptiv) and was responsible for establishing the ADAS product management and strategy process which led to a revamped product portfolio and a book of business wins exceeding $2 billion year-over-year. Aaron holds a B.S. in Electrical Engineering from Rose-Hulman Institute of Technology and an MBA from the Indiana University Kelley School of Business.

Board Member, NTSB

Michael Graham took the oath of office as the 45th Member of the National Transportation Safety Board on January 3, 2020.Before coming to the NTSB, Member Graham was with Textron Aviation, Inc. (Cessna/Hawker/Beechcraft) from 1997 to 2019. Since 2012 he served as their Director of Flight Operations Safety, Security & Standardization and was responsible for the safe and secure operations of all domestic and international flights conducted in support of the company. The scope of his responsibility included managing the flight operation’s Safety Management System and its certification, administering the Emergency Response Plan, supervising Air Safety Investigations, and overseeing two company airports and a control tower.Mr. Graham joined Cessna as a Demonstration Pilot and held positions in Production Flight Test and Delivery. He was instrumental in the merging of Beechcraft flight operations with Cessna’s after its acquisition. Mike also started the company’s highly successful Aviation Safety Action Program which became the model program for Part 91 operators.

Director, Intelligent Transportation Systems, Joint Program Office

Brian Cronin is the Program Director of the Intelligent Transportation Systems (ITS) Joint Program Office providing strategic direction for the research and deployment of ITS.  Brian provides advice to the Assistant Secretary for Research and Technology on ITS Policy, strategic program direction, and budget allocation.  Prior to this role, Brian served as Director, Office of Safety and Operations Research and Development, Federal Highway Administration (FHWA) for 5 years, and two years as the Director, Office of Operations Research and Development.  In his most recent role, he provided executive leadership and guidance for improving and advancing transportation safety and operations-related technologies and innovations through research, development, and testing.  Brian provided executive leadership in FHWA’s involvement in the Intersection Safety Challenge, development of a Vulnerable Road User Research Plan Report to Congress, and establishing a new Center of Excellence for New Mobility and Automated Vehicles. Brian guided the development of the Cooperative Driving Automation research program and V2X research efforts.

Associate General Counsel, Emerging Technologies, Verizon

Melissa Glidden Tye serves as Associate General Counsel, Emerging Technologies at Verizon. In that role, Melissa works to advance Verizon's federal policy, regulatory, and legislative agendas focusing on issues related to next-generation networks, artificial intelligence (AI) and the Internet of Things, including uncrewed aerial systems (drones), connected vehicles, and more. Additionally, Melissa provides counsel on a range of wireless legal and regulatory issues, including wireless infrastructure deployment, supply chain regulations, and post-transaction compliance. Melissa also has experience leveraging digital media to amplify policy objectives to a wide range of stakeholders, from targeted policymakers to national consumer audiences.

Senior Director, Government Affairs, Qualcomm

Andres Castrillon is Senior Director of Government Affairs at Qualcomm Technologies, Inc. where he serves as the lead U.S. policy advocate for automotive, Artificial Intelligence, and other emerging technology areas. Prior to joining Qualcomm, Andres led technology and motor vehicle safety policy for Stellantis where he was responsible for developing and implementing strategic state and federal lobbying initiatives on a range of automotive industry issues, including automotive safety, connected and automated vehicle technologies, privacy, cybersecurity, trade, and supply chain.Before transitioning to the private sector, Andres led the automotive team at the U.S. Department of Commerce, advising leadership on global policy issues impacting the competitiveness of the U.S. automotive industry.
