Charles Haake

Charles has been with Auto Innovators since its inception in 2020 and was previously with Global Automakers since 2015. Working with Auto Innovators' member companies, Charles provides legal and policy advice on a range of automotive matters, including fuel economy and vehicle emissions, motor vehicle safety, and connected automation. He joined Global Automakers after 18 years practicing law at Gibson, Dunn & Crutcher, where he handled agency rulemaking and regulatory challenges, defense of environmental enforcement actions, and environmental white-collar investigations. Charles received his J.D. from the University of Virginia School of Law where he served on the Law Review, and holds a B.A. from Washington and Lee University. He is a member of the California and District of Columbia Bars.
