Jennica Sims

Jennica has a decade of experience in policy and politics with a diverse background in the public and private sectors. Just before joining Auto Innovators in April 2023, Jennica worked for Mayor Muriel Bowser as Associate Director in the Office of Federal and Regional Affairs managing the federal payment, health care, technology, and commerce portfolios. Before that, she was at an artificial intelligence startup where she focused on strategic planning, political operations, and technology policy in the US and EU. Jennica worked on frontline congressional races and presidential draft campaigns up and down the Northeast and MidAtlantic regions, advocated health care policies, and developed and implemented various political action committees. Jennica graduated with a Bachelor of Arts in Political Philosophy with a minor in Religion from Lynchburg College and is currently enrolled at Northwestern University to obtain her Master of Arts in Public Policy and Administration.
