John Ohly
John has been with Auto Innovators since its inception in 2020 after joining the predecessor Auto Alliance in 2018. John is responsible for advocacy and engagement with federal executive and legislative stakeholders related to vehicle technology and innovation - including cybersecurity, connectivity, automation, and privacy – as well as motor vehicle safety. Prior to joining the Alliance, he spent over a decade on Capitol Hill where he served on multiple committees in the House of Representatives. Most recently, he worked for the Committee on Energy and Commerce, where he was responsible for a portfolio including cybersecurity, critical infrastructure and national security, the Department of Energy, and the automotive industry. He graduated from the University of Pennsylvania with a B.A. in Diplomatic History.
