Michael Hartrick

Mike joined the Alliance for Automotive Innovation at its inception, coming from the Alliance of Automobile Manufacturers, which he joined in 2016.  Among other topics, he covers greenhouse gas/fuel economy regulations and vehicle certification issues.  He brings over 20 years of automotive industry experience to Auto Innovators including 16+ years at FCA (and its predecessors).  His experience includes 12 years in rulemaking and compliance planning for U.S. light-duty vehicle greenhouse gas, fuel economy, and zero emission vehicle regulations.  Mike also has experience in vehicle emission and powertrain testing, and in emission control system defect investigation.  He holds a Bachelor of Science degree in chemical engineering from Michigan Technological University.
