Global auto supplier and autonomous vehicle startup join growing roster of members
WASHINGTON, DC – The Alliance for Automotive Innovation (Auto Innovators) today announced two new members to the association’s expanding roster of original equipment manufacturers, suppliers and transportation innovators.
Joining Auto Innovators:
Magna is one of the world’s largest automotive suppliers. The Canadian-based company includes a global network with 340 manufacturing operations and 89 product development, engineering and sales centers spanning 28 countries.
Nuro is a leading autonomous vehicle startup. The California-based company’s custom zero-occupant electric autonomous vehicles are a convenient, eco-friendly alternative to driving that has the potential to make streets safer and cities more livable. Nuro has piloted autonomous local delivery for communities in Texas, Arizona and California.
John Bozzella, President and CEO of Auto Innovators, said: “Auto Innovators continues to expand and welcome dynamic members from across the personal transportation spectrum. Magna is a global auto supplier and will help inform our supply chain advocacy, while Nuro’s AV technology is already on the road today. Both bring valuable perspective to the debates shaping transportation policy in Washington, state capitals and beyond.”
