LAS VEGAS, NV – At the Consumer Electronics Show (CES) today in Las Vegas, Alliance for Automotive Innovation welcomed global electric vehicle manufacturer VinFast as the association’s newest automotive member.
VinFast is a global EV manufacturer with U.S. headquarters in Los Angeles and is expanding its retail network with dealerships in addition to its stores to distribute their all-electric vehicles.
VinFast is also building its first U.S. manufacturing facility in North Carolina which is expected to start production in 2025. At CES, VinFast showcased its newest EVs including the mini-SUV VF 3 and a VinFast concept truck, the VF Wild, contributing to its existing EV lineup.
At a signing ceremony, VinFast Chairwoman Madame Le Thi Thu Thuy and Alliance for Automotive Innovation President and CEO John Bozzella outlined VinFast’s commitment to automotive electrification and the company’s investment plans in the U.S.
As a member of the Alliance for Automotive Innovation, VinFast will share information and best practices to help shape the policy environment on modern technologies, such as the benefits of electric vehicles, personal mobility, autonomous driving, innovations in automotive transportation and connected car technologies.
VinFast will participate in committees and working groups to advocate for policies that promote innovation and investment in the automotive industry, while ensuring safety and environmental sustainability.
